Appvizer's opinion
We were impressed by Atlas HXM’s ability to simplify the management of international teams, even in the most complex scenarios. During our test, we observed how its Employer of Record (EOR) model accelerates the recruitment and onboarding of talent abroad. For example, when we simulated hiring a developer in India and a legal expert in the United States, the onboarding process was completed in less than two weeks, all while ensuring full compliance with local laws.
One of the most notable aspects of Atlas HXM is its capacity to manage payroll centrally across more than 160 countries. We configured multi-currency payments and simulated payroll cycles across multiple regions with remarkable speed. In one use case, we tested payroll management in six European countries: what usually took several weeks to align across different systems was completed in just a few days thanks to the platform.
However, we found that the platform requires a certain level of proficiency to be fully utilized. The extensive features available necessitate a longer learning curve, and we encountered some limitations in customizing certain workflows and reports. Additionally, response times for urgent support requests can vary, which can be frustrating when seeking a quick resolution.
Despite these challenges, Atlas HXM remains an essential solution for companies undergoing global expansion. We particularly appreciated the personalized support from a dedicated account manager, which facilitated the implementation of complex HR processes. For us, Atlas HXM is a top choice for medium and large enterprises looking for a robust solution to efficiently manage their global workforce.

Atlas HXM: the complete test
In this section, we conducted an in-depth test of three key features of Atlas HXM: centralized global payroll management, the Employer of Record (EOR) model, and global compliance management. Here’s how these features can transform your international human resources management.
Centralized Global Payroll Management
Atlas HXM offers integrated and centralized payroll management, enabling businesses to process employee salaries across multiple countries from a single interface. We configured and tested multi-currency payroll cycles, while adhering to local specifics such as social security contribution rates and region-specific taxes.
For example, during our payroll management simulation for employees in Europe and Asia, Atlas HXM accurately and automatically calculated deductions and benefits, reducing the risk of errors and non-compliance.
This feature is ideal for businesses with a global presence, as it ensures efficient and consistent payroll management on an international scale.
Employer of Record (EOR) Model
Atlas HXM’s EOR model simplifies hiring international talent without the need to establish a local legal entity. We tested this feature by simulating the hiring of an engineer based in Brazil, and the process was smooth and hassle-free.
Everything from electronic contract signing to benefits enrollment was handled by the platform, in full compliance with local laws. This approach reduces the time and costs associated with setting up a subsidiary in a new country while ensuring full compliance with local employment regulations.
The EOR is a valuable asset for companies looking to expand their global reach quickly and securely.
Global Compliance Management
Compliance management is one of Atlas HXM’s strong suits. The platform is designed to ensure that businesses adhere to local regulations regarding labor laws, taxation, and benefits across more than 160 countries.
We particularly appreciated the automatic alert system, which notifies users of legislative changes that could impact their operations.
For example, when a new tax law was enacted in Latin America during our test, Atlas HXM updated the payroll rules accordingly. This ensures that businesses remain compliant in real-time, avoiding fines or penalties.
